Account Manager (Sales)

Our Exonic office located in Pittsburgh Pa has an opening for a sales engineer/rep.

Duties:

  • Duties and Responsibilities: Sales development, product demonstration, assist customers in recommending and specifying solutions, quoting, follow-up, general customer relations.
  • Training and Support: Our most successful sales engineers have a high level of technical knowledge on the products and solutions. Factory training schools and internal training programs are used to build product and application knowledge. Field Engineers and Application Engineers are available for presale and post-sale support.

Qualifications:

  • Requirements: 2 year Technical Degree, BS Engineering desirable. A strong knowledge of Automation Products and previous sales experience is absolutely required.
  • Ideal Candidate: Desire for outside sales position, strong technical background, excellent sales and business development skills, excellent time manager, willing to work outside normal hours to achieve success.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop relationships with existing and potential customers with the goal of obtaining profitable company business.
• Identify decision makers and the chain of command within an account in order to formulate a strategy for that account. Identify who has purchasing authority. This will require working with contacts at multiple levels within the account.
• Develop a territory-calling and territory-management strategy with your manager.
• Coordinate internal company resources in all phases of the sales cycle.
• Gain sufficient product knowledge to provide effective, high quality customer demonstrations/ presentations.
• Meet the objectives and expectations of the position while conducting yourself in the highest ethical and professional manner at all times when dealing with customers, vendors and other employees.
